Lit Outdoor Lighting named a 2026
 Best of St. Tammany winner

Lit Outdoor Lighting won the 2026 Best of St. Tammany award in the Outdoor Living and Lighting Store category. Winners are chosen by community vote. This year's program had more than 4,300 businesses competing across 255 categories, with 602 winners selected. The award recognizes Lit's design-first approach to landscape, architectural, and holiday lighting across the Northshore. Owners Jonathan and Melissa Kujawski were profiled in a companion feature on the Best of St. Tammany site.

Lit returns as official lighting installer for Celebration in the Oaks, signs four-year extension

Contracts signed August 4, 2026. Extension finalized August 2026.
New Orleans City Park / Celebration in the Oaks.

2026 is Lit's fourth consecutive year as the official lighting installer for Celebration in the Oaks, the holiday light display at New Orleans City Park that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each season. This year's scope is more than double 2025, covering the Walking Tour, the Driving Tour, and the grounds and City Putt areas. Lit also signed a multi-year extension with City Park, plus a separate seasonal maintenance agreement to keep the displays running through the season. Installation runs September through October with a crew of six on site.

Lit Outdoor Lighting opens new shop and warehouse in Covington

Lit moved into a dedicated shop and warehouse space in the Covington area this summer, giving the company room for a growing crew, vehicle staging, and inventory for landscape and holiday lighting. The move supports Lit's expansion across the Northshore and its growing commercial work. Lit has added full-time field staff this year and now runs multiple crews during the holiday season.

Outstanding job!!  They did what they said for a fair price. Results are excellent!!!  Everything works as it should.  The installation involved laying over 450 foot of wire and I can't easily see the evidence of all that digging...that's only one day in and I saw them doing the digging!  Yes, I'd call them again!

Our first home in Covington Louisiana and we wanted it to be beautifully decorated for Christmas. I reached out to Melissa and Jonathan at LIT to set up an appointment. They were so punctual and wonderful to work with! They gave us some ideas done up on their iPad to show us and we were amazed.
